Itinerary

Day 1 : (Paro) Arrival to Paro Thimphu

Arrival at Paro International Airport. Our local Bhutanese guide will meet and greet you at the airport. Proceed for your Immigration formalities at the airport. Transfer to Thimphu. On arrival at Thimphu, check in at the hotel. Later on, go for a local sightseeing tour of cultural capital Thimphu. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Thimphu valley. Explore the magnificent attractions of Thimphu which includes Memorial Chorten, Kuensel Phodrang - World's Largest Sitting Buddha Statue, Takin Reserve & Mini Zoo and BBS Tower - Provides a vantage point view of the Thimpu Valley.
Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Thimphu

Day 2 : (Thimphu) Thimphu

Morning breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full day sightseeing tour of Thimphu, which includes the following places of tourist interest like Folk Heritage Museum, Royal Textile Academy & Museum, Anim Dratshang (Nunnery), Trashichhodzong and Handicrafts Emporium.

Note: On weekends, guests can enjoy the weekend market, an interesting place for tourist to explore Bhutanese culture along with shopping.

Overnight stay will be in Thimphu.

Day 3 : (Punakha) Punakha

Morning breakfast at the hotel, next proceed to Paro.
The Paro valley extends from the meeting point of Paro Chhu and the Wang Chhu Rivers at Chuzom upto Mt. Jomolhari near the Tibetan border to the North. This glorious region is one of charming valleys in the Kingdom of Bhutan with fertile rice fields and a calm river down the valley.

After checking into your hotel, you would proceed for  seightseeing for paro which includes a visit to the following places: Drukgyel Dzong, Kyichu Lakhang and Ta Dzong.

Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Paro.

** Taktsang Monastery is another fascinating tourist site for you to visit. Visiting Taktsang is optional since you reach here after 2-3 hours of tough trekking.

Day 4 : (Paro) Paro

Morning breakfast at the hotel, next proceed for a full sightseeing tour of Chele La Pass. Chele La Pass is an amazing high altitude point to explore rivers, mountains, and clear blue skies. This point is easily accessible by road in Bhutan. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the Mt Jhomolhari (23,996 ft), the second highest peak in the cultural Bhutan and other Himalayan mountains. Visit Paro Dzong while returning back to Paro.

Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Paro

Day 5 : (Bagdogra) paro to Departure for Bagdogra

Early morning breakfast followed by a transfer to the Airport for your return journey
